Buehler Park - Rolla, MO

Approximately fifty Buehler Park supporters gathered for a Saturday afternoon filled
with fellowship, food, song and fun.

Citizens for the Preservation of Buehler Park Secretary-Treasurer Tom Sager makes a few
comments regarding the lengthy battle that has been fought to save the park.

Supporters pick up the latest information on various projects
being handled by the Great Rivers Environmental Law Center.

There were plenty of desserts and drinks. Attendees brought their own picnic lunches.
The event was coordinated by Elaine Grover, Director of Activism.

Kathleen Henry spent a great deal of her time getting Buehler Park supporters up to date on the status of the lawsuit filed by the Citizens for the Preservation of Buehler Park.

Longtime Buehler Park supporter, Lois Marler, entertained the crowd with several beautiful songs, including her own, "Ode to Rolla." Lois is the author of "Hail to the Chief" - a biography she wrote about the life and times of Dr. Henry Andrew Buehler, for whom the park is named.

One more time!

Parting Shot
The City of Rolla finally got rid of the horrible bathroom at Buehler Park.
They replaced it with this lone temporary restroom, apparently convinced they
will prevail in the lawsuit against the CPBP.
